Amazon SE Email #1
A rep on live chat told me that he can process my refund as soon as I fill out a document sent via email ( declaration of truth )

Should I try the corrupt file method or is my SE basically failed at this point?

Although I advise to not sign an affidavit for the reason that It's legally binding and can be used as evidence In court, judging by your comment below, It seems as though It's only required to move forward with your claim.

But considering it's Amazon that is asking it to you, let's see the probabilities that may be used against you are lower than another company would use for. But honestly I won't sign it, ever, it's risky.
