World's Oldest Living Person Celebrates 118th Birthday #1
Today, Kane Tanaka of Japan turned 118. She is the third person verified to have reached this age. The previous people verified to have reached age 118 are Jeanne Calment (in 1993) and Sarah Knauss (in 1998).

Can you imagine reaching the age of 60 and THAT being start off the second half of your life?

My goodness, as per below, she's doing exceptionally well for 118.

She Is Indeed.

I'll be more than happy to live two-thirds of her current age.

Aw, it was nice to read that he peacefully passed in his sleep. I suspect most of us would prefer to pass like that.

That's a good point. Although, some modern medical advances may counteract some of those issues. When you get to the grand old ages of 80+, it can often be infection or mental issues that cause a person to pass. Both of these are something the medical fields are researching and developing solutions to as time goes on.

I think you're right, though. Let's see what life-span looks like when the computer generation grow old.

I certainly agree.

In terms of Infection, the coronavirus Is a prime example- with the elderly being the most vulnerable, many of whom cannot fight It which ultimately results In death.
