Good approach.

In terms of the methods you're planning to use, the DNA pretty much speaks for Itself, so you're good to go. As for the AirPods and given they're extremely light, boxing without substituting the weight will suffice.

Let's give an update:

-Airpods have been boxed, now it's all about waiting until Amazon reimburses me OR if it takes too long (+3 weeks) I'll contact them myself and ask what's taking so long.

-Iphone has been received on a different adress. I contacted support and they told me that I have too wait till the 25th of december before they can reimburse me. The system doesn't allow for earlier since it is likely that the phone will still be 'delivered', in other words it seems like the SE is a succes! Once all money has been reimbursed I will give a final update.

What was the exact response from Amazon?

If this was their precise response, then a refund Is forthcoming.

Be sure to keep a record of all correspondence/communication.

Maybe I messed up the wording with 'boxed' but what i meant is that the Airpods are sent back for a refund. So its the regular refund process and that is basically all automatic.

I will try to keep a record, but the Amazon employee immediately closed the chat after I contacted them so unfortunately that is lost.

A return is the word! So I returned the airpods and am now awaiting a refund.

In such circumstances, It's good practice to have a screen recording software. As such, they cannot go back on their word.

When your claim Is finalized, simply delete the file.

Well done.

Technically, only when the funds clear, Is the SE deemed a success but It's safe to assume that yours Is a done deal.

RE: Iphone 11 John Lewis #15
SO they asked me to sign a small document stating that I didn't receive the product. Given the account is registered under a different name, I have to sign the document with a fake name. It seems like it's just a simple administrative document and not an actual legal document. But I still feel a bit unsure about what to do.

If that's an accurate representation of the original document In Its complete form, then It's fine to go ahead and sign It.

You're signing It "to the best of your knowledge and belief that It's true and correct", so on those grounds, the above basically has no legal Implications.

Thanks for the reply, I will sign the document and then wait for the refund. Next and last step is making sure they don't block the IMEI. Any tips for that?

An an SE'er, you have very little to no control of what actions they decide to take on their end.

If the IMEI Is placed In a pool of blacklisted numbers, It will be declined when attempting to activate the phone with a given carrier.
