They'll obviously request to return It, and you box them thereafter.
Beautiful. Thank you

Strange that Apple doesn't care about checking whether or not the assertions of the customer are right. Don't you think @

Honestly, If I may answer this: The item weight is to low to be measured by the carrier. And since the box was claimed to be empty, it wouldn't make sense to ask for a return. After-all, they would receive an empty box back in a case like this. So it makes sense the way they acted. A real customer with problems would react the same way as OP did. If Apple starts to distrust every customer with problems, they would lose their reputation incredibly fast.

Of course you can answer.
No, you're probably right the fact is that I am always reluctant about big and rich companies like Apple that don't use CCTV during canning and package the item. Or maybe they acted in that way only because they will block the device marking it as "stolen/lost" making it be useless, may also because of this. Anyway-

Do you believe with the way I've handled my SE so far that double dipping using Box method would be successful? Just as a second opinion

If you use box them using "disposed faulty item" method i.e. saying that the product doesn't work; yes. I would try it.

I mean, even if you plan on reselling it especially on ebay can't they still refund it if the watch is locked? It sure would be a bit complicated after they find it's locked. Hopefully Apple wouldn't bother though.

Does Apple take note of the serial for the watch you claimed DNA? If you activate it now and pair to a phone, can they remotely brick it?

Apple Itself, cannot (directly) remotely block It but If the serial Is placed In a pool of blacklisted numbers, then It will be flagged upon activation.
