Amazon DNA TV #1
Hello,

Hope you are doing well my fellas.

Im wondering whether a 65" TV priced 1150 euro will be too tricky to SE from Amazon?
The weight is aprox 27 kg.
Thinking of DNA.

Any suggestions?

You could also replace it with a cheap broken one from eBay, and say it arrived broken.

This will give them reason to check the return, hence they'll Identify that It's not part of their Inventory and lead to a failed SE.

Given the weight & dimensions of the Item, the DNA Is the only option.

Thank you for the respons @mothered .
Will the weight, dimension and price make the DNA more tricky? Or will it be the same as it is infact just the "DNA" method. Any chance of further doubt and investigation despite the price?

You never mention the FTID possibility, I think that might be applied also in this case, as long as the SEer has ome experiences about it.

It's due to Its weight & size.

You cannot use the wrong Item received (Impossible for them to make an error on such a large Item of that weight), nor obviously the missing Item method and It's too big and heavy to box.

Due to the price and If the DNA Is used, an Investigation Is almost certain to happen.

I believe you misunderstood me, or perhaps I was unclear.

To clarify, I suggested the OP bought the exact same model from ebay, but a broken one, such as with a broken screen. Obviously as it's broken it will be at a huge discount. Then swap them out. And if you are adamant enough/hold the skills, swap over the serial numbers, then send it back as broken. I personally see no reason as to why this shouldn't work, and as a matter of fact have tested this method myself and found that it produced positive results.

Actually OP is probably better off searching "65 inch TV" on eBay, filtering for "parts or not working" then find a cheap model that he is happy with, cross reference with Amazon to make sure they stock it, and that it is at the very least fulfilled by Amazon, then proceeding with the SE as aforementioned. In my opinion. There are always loads of broken TV's of every make, model and size that go for extremely cheap on eBay because few people bother to get them fixed, as it's not worthwhile. There are 65 inchers that go for as low as £20.

65 inch is too big of a hassle (quite literally) for the replace method and so I would recommend DNA or ftid. You would be surprised regarding ftid when it comes to amazon. I've heard of multiple success stories. Change the first line of address to somewhere nearby.

I'm fully aware that the ftid method is flawed, but when it comes to big tvs your choices are limited.

In my opinion, I would recommend buying a TV through PayPal with a big retailer in your country and then file a claim.

Hope this helps.
