hello everyone, I'm really in great difficulty. I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to repay an ipad with DNA on amazon. I did not sign and they left the package in my home. Amazon asks for the report from the police. I would like to get around this problem, I know it's part of the corporate protocol but some people manage to get around and I would like to do it too. pls i need help too much

Basically, if you report the Ipad as stolen, it will get bricked and wont work anymore. You should of SE'd a non-apple item that cant get bricked, like a Laptop.
An ipad will get blacklisted and stop working if its reported stolen.
So basically, what you can do is, sell the Ipad TODAY, get cash for it, then file the police report as stolen off your front porch.
Just be sure when your selling the Ipad, that your anonymous, post on Craigslist using a VPN, use a Burner Virtual phone number. Because that Craigslist Post selling the Ipad will be forensically analyzed by its IP address, phone number..
So I'd try to sell it, then delete the craigslist post.
Once you have cash from the Ipad, report the item as stolen off your front porch.
File the police report, 'I wasnt home and somebody took the box etc'
But remember, whoever buys the Ipad will probably contact you, or the police, once the IPad you sold them gets locked. So honestly I think you have to be 100% anonymous, IP address, Phone number has to be 100% untraceable, or it will come back to you and you may get arrested.
So, in your case, I'd just stop.

there must be a way to avoid it. For example, I found out that they ask when they understand that you begin to lie (for example, you use the empty box with a lot of weight, or too many refunds, and now I think about apple products). However, a way around it must exist
