In case u were to use “battery leaked” n other hazardious excuse for a refund, they d just send u their delivery guy to pick the hazardious stuff up for the return

That's why "research" Is of the utmost Importance prior to performing your SE. You can then formulate your method based on your findings.

In your case, you'd simply opt for another method that does not require the return of the (original) Item- such as the wrong Item received or obviously the DNA.

If u say u’ve received the wrong item they’ll ask you to return it no matter what

Correct, and that's the purpose of the wrong Item received method- to manipulate the representative/company Into believing they've dispatched the Incorrect Item.

As such, you'll receive a refund/replacement for the Item you've ordered.

No problem whatsoever.

If you're opting for this, a better chance of success Is the wrong Item received method.

Order an Item from Amazon that's extremely cheap, and Is around the same size and weight as the GPU. In the event they check the return and scan It, they'll see It's part of their Inventory and assume they've sent that.

Would I have to order this item of the same weight from the same account as the GPU or would it have to be a separate with different address?

Different account altogether and shipped to a different address.

You don't want any ties to the account that you're SEing the GPU.

Looks as though Amazon have dispatched the GPU to me not using their own services and have used royal mail tracked and signed for. I might be shit out of luck. Guessing they're doing that based on the price. Not 100% on if wrong Item received would work considering this?

You obviously want to "receive" It to claim that the Incorrect Item has been sent, so whether the consignment Is tracked and signed on delivery, has no negative Impact on the wrong Item received method.

In fact, It works to your advantage.

Alright good to know, thanks. I'll update the thread on the outcome. Now to try and find a product around the same size and weight and work on an account with different name and address.
