Taking all the above Into account and provided your method Is well-planned and executed effectively, I can't see any reason why your SE will fail.

Got 2 options planned, all depends on the delivery method used and how they deliver it. Will either be a DNA dependant on the proof, tracking and signature (had a few parcels where the delivery guy isnt even marking them as delivered) (all parcels dont need signature), or will be just refunding a light watch from the package and returning the rest.

Obviously you're using the partial method. What's the exact weight of the watch?

It can, and most likely will, If they're referencing a prior order on their system.

When I process claims at work and enter the customer's first & last name, I'm given the option to either proceed, or cross-check other details to make sure they're correct.

What about if you used your first and middle name with all other details different?

One thing i have never understood though, I have used a different delivery/billing address before, some websites don't question it, others do. Is there no way to know in advance if the order will get cancelled due to the billing address not being the one the card is registered to?

In this case, provided the family name/last name Is not used, then you'll be fine.

Without the last name, It's very difficult to conclusively Identify whether an account Is linked. That Is, family names are a lot more unique than first & middle names.

As per my example above, It depends how the company's claims department Is structured and whether the representative will take the extra step to cross-check the details at hand.

For Instance, If I have enough time at work, I will check the Information. If It's close to my lunch break, I don't bother and simply process the claim.

Orders are processed by companies Internally, so from a consumer's standpoint, It's not possible to know what happens prior to when the order Is punched Into their systems.

Now for my second refund I wondered how I would go about it. I'll create a new paypal account but I'm not sure about the Rest like:

Goes to show timing of the SE is so important. I always try to call right before day-end (preferably on a Friday/Saturday) when I feel like I'm at the last step.
