If so, by all means accept the call.
So emailing it is, lol
Good luck.
Please keep us updated as developments come to hand.
So I was able to contact the branch via email and the rep wants a proof of purchase. I already forged the invoice from Amazon but I'm wondering, the original owner had purchased it directly from Lenovo. Would they be able to determine that I hadn't actually bought it from Amazon and call me out on it? They also want pictures of the laptop, should I corrupt just the photos? Or both the invoice and the photos?

As a starting point, corrupt the Invoice and Images.
Obviously they'll request It again, so send It In a different file format/extension. This gives the Impression that you're doing everything on your end to resolve the matter. Also, assure them that It's working fine on your end. The next course of action will be based on their reply.

Understood, just sent the email, will update on how the rep responds.

Wow, it's just as you predicted, the rep is asking for another format. The images were initially JPG, so I've already corrupted different PDF's and am in the process of composing the new email.

Good, be sure to comply with their requests and keep sending corrupted files.
I'm hoping that the rep will eventually give In and offer a replacement. If not, the next course of action will be based on their reply pertaining to the corrupted files.

The rep asked me to post to a photo sharing site, should I comply? Or should I do something else? I was thinking that I could just misdirect him to a completely wrong imgur url and play it off like it's not my fault, or something along those lines.

aren't they going to ask for the item back anyway? Are you planning to box them after this photos phase?

I mentioned in the email that I no longer have the product but I do have pictures of the laptop malfunctioning. So, if they are never able to get ahold of these pictures, that's game. Well, that's if things play out the way I want them to.
