Is this possible to refund phones ? Amazon DE #1
Hey,

Is this possible to refund a phone without having it blocked @ Amazon DE ?

I have experience w/ the UK Amazon only... please help!

Phone would either be iPhone 11 Pro Max or either Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

€1,400 or €1,000, worth items .

Account is aged enough ( no returns no refunds nothin’) but have one order only which happaned several months before n was only around €40 lol

iPhones are very hot to refund on UK Amazon , is the case the same w/ the DE version?
I may would have more chances w/ the Samsung then???

The make & model of the device Is Immaterial.

It's whether they blacklist the IMEI that's of relevance- which Is not possible to determine for each and every claim.

I didn't say Amazon can.

As for Apple and/or Samsung blocking numbers, It's by no means entirely the case. This Is how It works. The IMEI Is placed In a pool of blacklisted numbers and upon attempting to activate the device with "any" carrier, It will show up as flagged/blacklisted, hence the activation process will be declined.

This Is on the grounds that steps are taken accordingly to prevent the phone from being activated In It's entirety, Irrespective of the type of carrier used.

Simply put, there are no hard and fast rules If and when IMEI numbers are blacklisted. If you're lucky enough, you can SE 100 cell phones with no Issues whatsoever. On the other hand, a single device can well and truly be blacklisted "when measures are taken accordingly with the carrier(s)".

I've been In the scene for 30+ years, In both a technical and SEing capacity. From the days of the ARPANET to (obviously) where we stand today. Amazon UK officially launched In the late 90s, of which I've had the pleasure to experience via various avenues. A lot has changed since then and continues to do so.

Read my above post thoroughly. I cannot simplify It any further.
We're back on-topic.

You've refunded hundreds of phones from the same company, in another region and you think there'll be drastic differences? I don't get it.
