Amazon return #1
hi, a year ago i ordered a monitor worth 150 euros from amazon.  I would like to change it for a better monitor, is there a way to send it back and get the money back?  a month ago I wrote that it turned on and off by itself but they offered me a repair and not a refund.  thanks and merry christmas

I was in a similar situation, but with a TV. I just convinced them it was not feasible for me to bring the TV to the somewhat local (90min drive) repair dude so they finally offered me a refund. Can you at least return it?

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

You can try this method. Otherwise I wouldn't know any other method. Wrong Item method would be hard because not all monitor weigh similar. But you can try to find one close to your current monitor weight and just try that way

With your own money? Make a case against that if so.

not with my money, simply the problem would be that I will not get the money back and the monitor is not actually broken. I need an excuse for the refund

I meant shipping. Are they paying for that?

Just to give the Impression that you wish to solve the matter, Initially, comply with their request by saying that you will send the monitor. Of course, you'll do no such thing.

Wait a little while, contact them and say that much to your dismay, your brother disposed of the monitor due to not having the need to keep a nonfunctional Item. Apologize and tell them that you'll try and find It In the trash. A day or so later, contact them again advising that you've searched for the monitor to no avail. Your message must come across as being extremely distressed. As such, they'll have no choice but to Issue a refund.

The objective here, Is that you've (seemingly) tried your utmost best to fulfill their request. In actuality, you've reversed the claims process, by manipulating the representative(s) Into serving "your needs", as opposed to you serving "their needs".
