Ring a cheep item on bottom with steaks on top, scan cheep item and put both in the bag. At the same time you put it in the bag, pick up the bag and place it back in the cart. If it beeps choose "do not bag this". If anyone says anything tell them you're a god damn customer and not a cashier. If they wanted it done right they should hire a professional not cut their labor costs. (no lie self checkouts and automating low skill labor really ticks me off. Everyone needs income)

Simply scan Items of the same product, but of the cheapest value. For Instance, Pink Lady apples that cost 5.99$ Kg, will be scanned as Royal Gala apples at 1.99$ Kg. The same with bread, milk and so forth.

If only the food industry wouldn't throw away good food... I've just looked at some reports regarding the [redacted]Food Services industry a few days ago, and it was really badly hit by the pandemic, but I think that's obvious, no need for reports, but I needed to make a presentation on the whole thing, so I needed some respected sources. I think the whole industry will need a few years to get back on track after the hit it took from the lockdown, which is still no easying in a lot of parts of the world.

I worked In the food Industry many years ago and If there was the slightest Imperfection with the packaging, they'd toss It In the dumpster. Mind you, the food Itself was perfectly fine.
