Better to only do it once every 3-6 months and in between refunds make sure to have some transactions on the PayPal account.

Is it easier/faster than contacting the actual company?

There are no hard and fast rules.

I've had refunds Issued Immediately, whilst other times I've had to wait quite a while.

Any eBay seller with over a 100,000 feedback is almost guaranteed to not respond to a dispute, however abusing this can lead to limitations on your account, no idea what the magic number is though.

Depends on the company you’re refunding. Some refunds don’t work through through the company itself but PayPal works.

There are times where I try to refund the company itself if it doesn’t work then I move to paypal.

PayPal is a longer process bc you’re betting on them not answering and if they don’t you get your refund. If they do respond you gotta be smart about it and stick to your story and add details as you go along

Yea you are right, I wasn’t saying it will take 3-6 months for one refund. I meant to say it’s better to wait 3-6 months after your PayPal refund because they keep track of it and if you do it often I believe they ban your acc or limit it. To be on the safe side it’s better to spread out every refund and have some legit transactions on the account before you try again.
