I completely forgot about this thread.

I realize It's been a while, but for Informative purposes, what was their exact response?

sorry i totally forgot about this
after i sent the shoes to adidas from what i remember there wasnt much communication, whenever i went to speak on live chat they always just told me the return is being processed which took way longer than it shouldve, i called them after a few weeks and i found out that the shoes i returned are being sent back to me as they didnt pass the return stage for some reason, i made a paypal case saying i got the wrong item and after like 2 weeks paypal requested for me to send back the shoes, i got my refund a few days later

That's totally fine with your delayed response, no Issue whatsoever.

Judging by your reply, I'd say Adidas has certain guidelines that they must adhere to when receiving returns. Yours must've failed to meet their requirements. The main thing Is, you've received the refund.

Paypal seems to be pretty seperate from the victim company during a claims process. I've had success with this on 4 different accounts now. Process is simply wrong item received>paypal tells you to return the item>you box them and give paypal the tracking number>once the box gets delivered paypal refunds you your money.

Too easy and certainly beneficial to the SE'er

If PayPal had better measures In place, they'd ask for confirmation on delivery of "goods", and only then can a refund be Issued to the account holder. Simply put, no return "Item" received by the seller, no refund generated.

Sadly that's PayPal for you. Many people are being fucked over by their lack of communication with the selling parties. Either way, glad it worked out.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

Yeah fuck paypal lol I sold some stuff on ebay once; the buyer wanted to make a return, so paypal gives them a return label with my old address. I even caught this before it was delivered, called paypal to inform them they said yahyah no problem. Couple days later return gets delivered so the refund goes out my account, I call them back pissed af and they keep telling me they can't do anything I should've had the correct return address listed in the first place. The company is a clusterfuck lol.
