Alienware is a pain in the ass #1
I just tried the Alienware method and they literally wouldn't even budge. I even cried on the phone. I asked to get transferred to a supervisor and once I did, he didn't do anything either. They were just mad and said that they required a picture of the serial number with the case number or the computer to be under my account or send it to them and even then the only thing they could do was just send a technician to my house. I legit had the name of the owner and zip of where the owner lived and the owner wouldn't give me any more details. I even said that I got it from craigslist and the seller wouldn't respond anymore. I also said I cut my finger on the computer and got blood all over it. I needed this for work for my company and they don't allow me to send out this computer because it has corporate secrets. I said I couldn't take the hard drives out because it is dangerous because it could break and I could lose more data. They still wouldn't budge. They said no matter what they did not offer replacements. I was on the phone for 2 hours. Please tell me if I did anything wrong and help me.

One advantage is that I didn't yet give details that I can't change i.e my address, so in case I find a method in the future, I could do it

A little bit of hunting on eBay for the serial number and a bit of conversation with sellers for their details. Most sellers didn't reply. The ones that did refuse to give that info up

I'm referring to Alienware.

What was the Initial conversation before being thrown from one rep to another?

I remember back in the day Alienware used to get hammered with Social Enginerers.

A lot of the older methods don’t work anymore sadly.

I remember it being very challenging even then. I can't imagine how much harder it is now.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni
