Help about amazon refund #1
Hello, so I want to upgrade my PC and to try to get a refund on something like cpu. I will buy CPU+MOBO+RAM. Would try to do that one of the products is not in the package for example CPU. So I have some questions:
1. Does this method still work?
2. I am using amazon.de and how do I know if the products are sold by and fullified by amazon? I only see sold by amazon.
3. Any tips?

Thanks in advance

The "missing Item" method, Is based against the nature of the Item, namely the weight. When used effectively, It works extremely well.

Quote:I only see sold by amazon.
Is this the case with "every Item" you come across?

Go to buying options where it shows a list including third party sellers, and select the one that says sold and fulfilled by Amazon. Normally it's prime delivery too.

But, will it work? I tried to find a CPU without a cooler so it would weigh nothing but there is only one with a cooler. Is it still possible to lie there was no CPU in the box? Or they can tell there was?

Packages are weighed on consignment, so If It registers a significant weight and they cross-check the details with the carrier, the SE will fail.

How much does It weigh?

It's almost half a kilo, so too heavy for the missing Item method.
