police report asked on amazon.es 07-23-2019, 02:04 AM
#1
Hello,
So I tried to refund on amazon.es for only 298€ this time but these morons, in the order section, for the signature, they put my real name while I made a fake sign. The order contain airpods and a external hard drive.
Now they ask a police report for that...
I had thought to contact them and say I got it by neighbours but there is the wrong item or the box was empty or maybe I can box them or if you know how I can bypass the police report
So if someone can help me, thank you.
I put the links of the items in question:

What method did you use, and what exactly does their request for the police report relate to?

For that price I just used the DNA method and they ask me the police report because they said there is my real name on the sign however I faked sign
They ask that on the police report:
"It is important that the police report specifies your information (as it appears on Amazon's account) and order information (ID, delivery date and address, name of the person who signed for the delivery), as well as details of the office where the problem was reported."

If you signed with a fake signature, there's no cause for concern.
Request a copy, of what they claim to be your real signature.

Their purpose In requesting a police report, Is due to (what they claim to be) your real signature on receipt of goods.
If you've signed otherwise (fake signature), then that voids their entire process. Kindly ask them to send you a copy of the signature. If they have nothing to hide, they'll have everything to show- hence fulfill your request.

So I talked to them, but they told me that there was my real signature on the package, but that's impossible, and they want the police report anyway so I don't know what to do now...

Perhaps you squiggled on the signature? When you squiggle and no recognizable lettering forms a word, it automatically signs as the shipper name. Which is why I highly recommend not signing with squiggly lines or unrecognizable lettering.
