Ngl it's starting to frustrate me the way you comment. How would you know you KNOW! In the UK with Zalando you can see almost anything. I have a friend who done 1.5k refund 20 pairs of shoes and said only about £100 came. Refunding is not logical in most cases.

The equation Is pretty simple- you dislike my posts, don't read them.
I've seen your comments about and I do not doubt that you are very experienced in social engineering in refunds. But I gotta say; I keep seeing you comment that when doing partial refunds, a company will check the weight of the package and if it doesn't match the SE will likely fail. I have to say this is false. Not every company does this - many don't. I've done 5 Zalando refunds in total for me and other friends. Every time it has been an order of around £500 and we say only £100 worth of clothes came (t-shirts and socks). So although you may be very experienced, saying that a partial is unlikely to work because companies can see weight of the package is not true.

Interesting, I'm looking to SE around 7-20 items from that place amounting around £500-600. Do you have any advice I should keep in mind?
This will only work if it's your first order and plus he done it before it was a known refunding place

Regarding the subject of your thread, the difficulty of Zalando refunds tend to vary from country to country. I assume you're from the US?
I am from the UK actually!

Ive always heard conflicting opinions about weight - some say it matters - some say it doesn't, is there anyway to actually confirm this because I feel many people may be misinformed and spreading false information!
It makes sense though that lighter items pass SE much easier than a heavier items after all - if a heavy TV box was empty at the depo sure this would be noticed, but I've heard people who have got away with claiming such. Little things like this scare me away from attempting heavier purchases

Yeah this makes sense, I guess SE is all about using communication skills and understanding what the other person is thinking in order to manipulate the situation into your favour, there isn't really a method for that you're right

I certainly agree that not every company cross-checks the consignment with the carrier, hence will
most likely fail, not
will fail. Don't base your experience on one company, namely Zalando. They all differ with their claims management strategies/protocols.

It most certain Is.
There are countless members who've requested (as still do), assistance due to an Investigation opened when using the partial/missing Item method. As a matter of fact, one
as recent as yesterday.
This Is the result of the company liaising with the carrier
to confirm the consignment's weight and respective details.
As per my above comment, try using the missing Item method on a laptop that weighs 2.5KG at a cost of 3k. Do you believe It'll have a successful outcome? Nether do I.

Very well said, It's precisely what SEing entails.
