Bose SE Method 04-21-2019, 02:09 AM

This is one of my favorite methods due to how easy it is. You don't need to buy a product to SE Bose.
Method:
1. Find a serial number
This can be done through a friend, or simply by messaging people on marketplace websites (eBay, Facebook, Craigslist, etc.). I like to say that I need confirmation to prove they are real because I have been scammed before, so I need the S/N to verify (usually works). You can also buy serial numbers from forum users. This is easier but can cost you money.
2. Find a receipt
You could either fake a receipt using Amazon or BestBuy Photoshop templates, or use the same method as above but say you need the receipt for verification. Usually, if someone has given you the S/N, they'll likely hand you the receipt as well, so it can be done with the same person most of the time.
3. Call Bose Support
I always find calling to be better. Explain your problems, go through the troubleshooting steps with them. Have the serial number during the call, as they will ask you for it. After the call, they will likely email you and request the picture of the receipt. Never ask for a refund explicitly. This can hurt your chances of getting one.
4. Box Method
They will send you a prepaid shipping label, which you can use to box them. If you're lucky, you might get an advanced replacement.
5. Enjoy your products!
