RTX Graphics Card SE #1
Hi All,

im attemping to SE this product

Can someone please confirm what weight and dimensions i need to consider for using the wrong item method... i really want to do a DNA (just easier) but feel the cost of the item will warrant an investigation?

Any stock items people can think off will be a great help.

Thanks

Don't use that one, it ships in a clear plastic bag and it will be obvious that the right item has been sent. For this similar item:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07JCF4...asin_image

The weight of the item in it's 'RTX 2070 box' is 2202g, and the dimensions are 38cmx27cmx8.5cm.

Only the plastic bag, without the box nor the package Is sent?

Even so, there's no record (Image) of the Item being received at It's destination, namely the account holder's address.

Surely the dimensions of the 'return' doesn't matter, does it? It's only the weight that matters?

Also, you've got to remember that most of the people doing the returns have no advanced knowledge of the items being returned. They're just employed to process returns and they've got a certain amount they'll be required to do each day, so they won't want to be putting too much of their time into going in to fine detail on every parcel or knowing if it ships in a clear bag or a box or with barbed wire, etc.

If you scroll down on that Amazon post you linked normally the dimensions and the weight, as well as the shipping weight are listed!

No, those are the dimensions of the ACTUAL GPU. The GPU comes in it's own retial 'RTX 2070 box', which is actually what you need to use as reference when picking the swap item. I gave him the measurements from my own RTX 2070 box, as I did the exact same SE about a week ago (although I am still waiting on my refund).

When I was in his spot, I tried emailing shops everywhere to get the measurements, but nobody would give them to me, it was frustrating as hell.

Physically attend your local computer store (I'm sure everyone has one In their area), and obtain the measurements thereafter.

What did you end up using as your swap item?

Once again - are dimensions really necessary when dealing with returns? Every time I've returned anything, it's always been a completely different dimension to the one I received lol.
