finally bypassed the lock on RCA Voyager 3!
tools needed:
sdcard
some kind of launcher app (basically any home screen you want. nova launcher or whatever)
instructions:
1. put the launcher apk onto your sdcard (can also be done after step 3 by plugging your tablet into a computer)
2. put the sdcard into the voyager 3 tablet
3. when it asks if you want to switch the write disk, click ok
4. tap your sdcard (fourth entry, not second)
5. tap the apk file you transferred
6. when it asks about allowing unknown sources, click settings
7. allow unknown sources
8. go back and tap the apk file again
9. install like usual
10. click open. THIS IS IMPORTANT! DO NOT CLICK DONE!
11. once your in the launcher home screen, navigate to settings
12. uninstall VUDO (i also uninstalled walmart and sams club for good measure)
limitations:
you cant enable developer mode
home button doesn't work
recent apps button (the square) doesn't work
you can't switch home apps without a reboot and a reinstall of a different home app
you have to repeat steps 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10 on every reboot

Edit Reason: stupidly forgot tablet name, be more specific, add more limitations I discovered

I have a LeapFrog EPIC I bought from Walmart and needed its guts to fix a broken EPIC I already had. When I bought it "with cash" I got all the info needed to unlock the DISA. I did that, swapped the guts and it works fine.
My question is, when I take back the EPIC with the old guts installed from my broken tablet, and Walmart scans it back in for return, will the DISA somehow reactivate on my EPIC Tablet or is it going to stay unlocked? Wouldn't even have thought about it if I hadn't noticed there was an option in system menu to "relock DISA".
I tried all the PM uninstalls and all of them said failure and I don't see any services running with DISA in the name no matter what program I use to look up services, App Manager, "PM List Packages", Application Manager, etc.
Is Walmart the only place that does this? Should I just go to Best Buy or Target and use one of those Epics to swap guts?

After reading all this stuff I finally just contacted dtvguy68@yahoo.com and he unlocked my Nextbook and its one of the newest models made in Sep 2018. Like most people, I don't have hundreds of hours to spend pouring over tech posts. Just pay this guy a few bucks and be done with it.

Miroir M20 bypass........................Turn on the projector, without having any cables plugged in to it,.punch in a wrong 6 digit code, whatever numbers you wish, AS SOON AS YOU PRESS THE VOLUME DOWN BUTTON (- THE MINUS SIGN ) that confirms that you are finished entering the code number, PLUG IN THE HDMI CABLE. and I mean plug it in IMMEDIATELY. TIP-have the HDMI started into the input jack about a quarter of the way. I nailed the timing down perfect on my second attempt and have been using the projector for over an hour now. You will have to repeat this process EVERY time you turn the power back on but you but who fucking cares, what once was a useless piece of shit sitting in drier for the last 6 months is now a brand new toy I can actually play with. There's a kid with a vid on youtube that I watched when I first got this thing claiming to be able to bypass it, the method he does in the vid is wrong, but what he, and others that have done explain in the comments is THE RIGHT WAY TO MAKE IT WORK, decided to revisit his video and HOLY SHIT it payed off. at least we can use them until the code numbers can be sorted out.

Thank u jlawak..got mine working the question I have is how many times will this work until it locks u out completely..as with anything I’ve encountered usually only so many times and the bios disables all the functionality.. every time I have used it so far I did a hard reset..kinda hoping that helps and won’t lock me out..thx again
