So I boxed an Ipad on an old account with several orders and never had a refund. They recieved the items yesterday but I never got a confirmation. I called support today to ask for the status of the order and the guy said he’d let me know in 7 days the status of the refund. After the call i got this email

Is this a bad sign?
I used boxing method and put in some random shit and ensured the weight matched as the delivery. I tore the tape and tapped it again badly with some different colour tape to make it look like it was opened in transit.

new year maybe new secuirty measure, they may have put limits on certain agents more trusted agents higher limits etc its just a guess

It seems to me that the refund Is on It's way, but the delay Is due to your claim being escalated to the department who will process It.

It's happening the same to me.
i was waiting for the refund confirmation but it never arrived.
so yesterday I contacted in chat a rep and she was very suspicious with me
asking what I founded inside the package (I told this informations 1 week before at the telephone to the other rep)
and why I don't remember exactly the name of the different product
and she told me is so strange if I dont remember this kind of stuff when it happens 2 times (is a double dip)
so after this shit in chat I received about your same email where they are investigating in the center
and I will receive a reply after 7 days.
if nothing I have to contact them again.
I wonder, what they could ask me after this? A police report for different items?
I'm just afraid if they investigate on the account because I changed recently all the informations about it
and I used the same card of another account where I refunded more then 2k

I got this email this morning
“We’ve received the item below and have issued your refund. Thank you for sending the item back. Your return is now complete.”

So the refund will hit my CC in at most 5 days , crazy though.
