AMAZON Refund TV - Urgent Need Help Please #1
Hi guys, despite my work I did SE, I can not get a refund for a TV purchased on Amazon Warehouse. During the chat they asked me for some photos, I sent them photos of my TV which is broken, I said that the package got wet, and that I got the electricity. Now after sending the requested photos via email, they sent me a message telling me that if I want I can return the item, but at my expense. Do you also think that if I send the TV back to them once they have received it, they compare it to the pictures I sent? And if they check and notice, what happens? Do I lose money and TV?

do not return to them a tv that is not the same they will not refund you
explain your are not in a position to pay for return postage for a broken tv you live in a small flat and your health vistor has advised you to have it removed from the flat due to safety so you had to get it safely removed

Quote:of my TV which is broken, I said that the package got wet, and that I got the electricity

Based on the above, you should've told them that (for safety purposes), you disposed of the TV.

This 1000x times. I SE'd a 55inch TV a day after it arrived. Used the safety hazard method and told them I disposed of it. After 2-3 reps I got my refund. Just for the future , any item where something like a leakage / made of glass / some sort of safety hazard that is immediate , its best to say that you disposed of it out of safety concerns. Bonus points if you can get a female rep and sell her a story that it would have posed a danger to your children.

Very valid point here:
Quote: if you can get a female rep and sell her a story that it would have posed a danger to your children.

You can also add that one of your children attempted to connect/plug-In the TV, and you Immediately Intervened and disposed It thereafter.

I told them a thousand times that I have to dispose of the TV, but they say I have to give it back.

If I send the TV as I arrived and do not find that it is broken anywhere, I will return the money or will the TV and the money?

I'm trying in every way, I told them that I received a wet package, but they do not want me to dispose of it, they want me to return it.
