Hey,
Am planning to claim a DNA/Damaged/stolen item from a company that uses UK Mail to ship their items.
Anyone know how they are when they look into claims and checks?
Item I'm looking at is around $630

Haven't ordered anything yet. Planning to get stuff from camerajungle
Given the price, I would order a small item with it. And make sure it is all packaged in one box. Then I would do the missing item and get a refund for the large item.

Hey dark_net.
I'm not too familiar with the missing item method, would that be to receive item and then tell them that I ordered two and claim that one item turned up? I've only used the DNA method so far. Is there any estimate as to how much of the price gap there should be between the products?
Thank you
Yes you have got it spot on. You order an expensive item (that you want to SE), and a cheap item that you dont mind paying for. Then when the parcel comes, you can either sign or pretend your not home and hope they leave it in the porch, it doesn't matter. Then you call up the company and say that the expensive item was missing but you got the cheap item. They might do an inquiry to check that the items were packaged together, then they should give you a refund for the expensive item.
Alternatively you could do the wrong item received and then box them, it's up to you.
Good luck

Hey,
Package just turned up. Is it best to email them or to call them up?
Cheers
