I'm currently in full time education, and unemployed. I have social engineered a few things but as I live at home, it's hard to keep them from my parents and I think they're catching onto something being a bit fishy.

I was wondering, what do you guys tell your parents? (If you're in a similar scenario)

Not in the same scenario but you could say something like you have been doing some work online by helping people do homework and other services and you are buying these things or if you are getting the same item you already have just say that the previous stopped working by either and external issue so if you bought a speaker you could say to them that the charger didn't work and you message tech support and they sent a replacement and then tell them that it was the chargers fault, or if you don't want to risk it you could ask a friend to be a drop site.

Just gotta hide your stuff a little better i dont think theres a good excuse when they see you a bunch of new products especially since your unemployed itll be pretty hard to lie to them

Simply saying you're receiving deliveries on behalf of a friend who's In the process of moving house, will convince them.

You could use a drop address. I'm sure you are probably old enough to ride a bicycle. Do you know of any abandoned houses around your neighborhood? You could even google foreclosed houses nearby and send the products to those houses. This would allow you to SE without having any traffic coming to your house making you less suspicious to your parents. It also helps cover your ass a little better to in case any of the companies you are trying to SE start to catch on. Either way good luck!

I haven't done it a lot, only now and then and got a few things but so far when they've questioned me I said I won a YouTube competition but I can't keep saying that of course.
