Hi guys,
I'm doing one of my first SE.
How can you handle if they say "ok, we send you a new monitor, and you put the old one into the same box, directly to the post man".
Should I just give up that?

What company Is It?

Also, have you already purchased the monitor? The reason I'm asking, Is because you can use the DNA method Instead.

I have almost the same situation. ...

UPS postman told me it was a return exchange. I needed to give me the new monitor and put the defective in the box.
Is it possible to put a random monitor in the box instead of the same model? Even another brand?
I was thinking if I asked to tell you that there were no units of my monitor, so I had been offered one of a higher range and I chose that one.
(I'm talking about a 35-inch curved monitor from the HP brand and putting a 17-inch Acer monitor in the face of the UPS dealer in the box

Any suggestions?

Rather than hijacking this thread, I suggest creating one of your own.

HP.
I'm trying to SE with a bought serial, so I don't have the monitor.

Put In any old monitor that you have (or happen to find) lying around.

As far as you're concerned, you've given the correct monitor. What happened during transit with the carrier, Is out of your hands- they could've tampered with It.

So the postman is actually going to stand there and wait for you to open the box, take the new monitor out, and put the old one in? Seems like a huge waste of time for him.

That's what they said to me on CHAT

That’s weird. He might just end up dropping it off without even worrying about that. Never know. I can tell you from my experience, the delivery guys around here never really bother to follow any special instructions that are involved with the package. They pretty much just throw it on my doorstep and that’s it.

Post men are busy people and do NOT have time to wait for you to put the monitor in the same box. It sounds like a really bad scare tactic to wane off scammers. You got any updates OP?
