Raised forum goals to 250 posts, 25 threads, 25 new members. I'd appreciate if I don't have to change it back.

Hopefully we can have them raised in the upcoming months

If activity keeps up we can. Though I noticed we are at less than 150 currently. Let's keep the momentum

This.

Seldom does activity remain on a consistent level. It can (and does) fluctuate +-100 posts on any given day.

Absolutely. And sometimes just one or two popular threads/posters can make that difference.

Certainly so.

I believe a well-documented thread that's of Interest to the majority of the community, can make a huge difference In the number of posts generated. Multiply It by a few threads of similar nature, and It may well get close to fulfill the daily forum posts goal. Of course, as you've mentioned, posters (members) "do" make a significant difference.

Very true. Every contribution does count (literally).

Maybe posting incentives would be beneficial ? @Oni

We have one for 2500 posts, but maybe add 2 more for lower numbers? Or maybe some for certain forums ?

Pretty good suggestion.

Although the Power Poster award (as viewed on my profile) Is already In place, there's a lot of different types that can be given.

Could add awards for 1000 posts and 5000 posts. Lower than that and it'd be like handing out participation awards.

That sounds fair. Looking forward to the Canadian flag too if it's still coming. If you're taking award suggestions overall, I have plenty.

Agree.

I believe a minimum of 1000 posts Is appropriate, and 5000 offers a good Incentive to work (harder) for the award, thus may also boost activity.

Any reason for the random influxes or changes? Or is it just the nature of a forum. just curious
