I just remembered it's a pre order item because of RDR2. I may just SE the console on its own and get the game on its own. You guys think a store like Asda or Very will be doable? If things go wrong I could try and send my current PS4 back and claim you sent the wrong item. Let me know your thoughts.

Guys, I decided to not use the serial number method as it's too long-winded and the margin for error is very low. What do you think about me ordering one from a retailer, and telling them they sent the wrong item, and put my current ps4 in and returning that?

Larger companies yes and if it does work in the end just say that you put in the wrong one.
