Boxing and other questions 10-03-2018, 02:54 PM

Just found this site yesterday and loved the information I found. Great site and inclusive community.
I'm just wondering what boxing is and how it's done. Everyone talks about it, but no one really gives any information.
Also, with amazon:
Is it easier just to say DNA or say they gave me a wrong part and change it out for something brand new that weighs about the same? Want to do this with a CPU and a GPU, along with some other parts I will keep. These are higher end parts, or should I try SE on intel and nvida. Any tips?

DNA depends on where you live I think in USA its common for packages to be left on your porch.
Boxing is basically just the act of sending an empty box and saying that you put the item in it, but it disappeared.

So, this only works for lighter weight items. Not heavier ones, if you go heavy would you just put anything in it?

I wouldn't box heavier items, I know many users use dry ice for that.
But with the example of airpods you can just use nothing.
As in just sending an empty box.

What would you do for heavier items, just say did not arrive?
Also, i never could understand dry ice, it produces a lot of gas...

Just seal the item up good.
For heavier items you could use wrong item method (needs to also be in stock)
Or just dna.

What do you mean by in stock, eg. the secondary item has to be shipped from the same location?
So, DNA works basically for everything, even higher cost items.

Provided your SE Is prepared, formulated and executed accordingly, you can use the DNA method for just about any Item.

I see. How much do you usually prepare before hand? or do you usually make it up along the way mostly.
