Hey guys!
So I called HP, everything worked out fine. They believed me, but now they want to exchange monitors, how would you go about this?
I obviously don't have the monitor neither do I have the packaging.

Tell them you were getting the monitor ready to pack and In doing so, you lost grip and It fell on kitchen tiles smashing the screen to bits.

Hey boys, little update
so I went into the live chat and told them what @mothered posted, they said that they couldn't do anything, I asked for a supervisor, they told me that they couldn't forward me to one, will call them on thursday ( tomorrow is a holiday in Germany ) and will ask for a supervisor then, I will keep you updated.

You've simply dealt with a representative who woke up on the wrong side of the bed- feeling grumpy and couldn't care less.

Don't take no for an answer. If the supervisor gives a similar response, ask to speak to his senior and so forth.

Exactly as @mothered said, don't stop calling them.

It's all about assuming an authoritative figure and taking control.

Once you're on the back foot and at the mercy of the representatives, the SE Is destined to fail.

When trying to get a monitor just keep on them, don't take no for an answer, make multiple calls until someone puts it through for you.
