Any Updated amazon SE Guides ? 09-05-2018, 02:07 AM
#1
I tried to SE but I can't seem to get it down right. I have gotten a few little items but when push comes to shove they always tell me to ship to the product back. I say the item comes broken or defective. Any help would be nice, thank you guys so much!

And what happens after that?
In this case, If the size and weight of the Item Is appropriate, use the empty box method when sending It back.

As the name suggests, you send the box empty- without the Item.
Instead, you add dry Ice that matches the weight of the Item, make a tear on the box consistent with the Item's size, and seal It with different colored tape. By the time the package will reach It's destination, the dry Ice would have sublimated (turned to gas), hence empty box on receipt.

So they dont check inside the box once they receive it?

When they check they will see it's empty. If the item was light enough when checking the original weight of the package when sending it wouldn't appear strange if it wasn't very heavy, as the item itsled would be already really light.
If the item is heavier then when sending add dry ice as @
mothered mentioned. When they check the weight when sending it would appear normal, leading them to assume the product was stolen during transit.
If you search around on this forum you can find more in-depth guides on boxing.

There's also boxing services (where people do it for you). Just make sure they're in your particular region.

@
Auftot has explained It very well, so I won't elaborate further.
Just for your knowledge on how dry Ice works and why It's commonly used when boxing, as opposed to Ice that "melts" (hence leaves traces of liquid), dry Ice "sublimates" (turns to gas). Therefore, upon opening the package, there are no signs of It's preexistence.
