Does Boxing HyperX Work? 08-18-2018, 11:01 PM

I have HyperX memory on my pc with life time warranty.
I dont have the receipt, but I can make. My photoshop skills are good.
They'll probably ask me to return the memory back. Can I box them? Will it work?
How about postage? If I used tracked method they might weigh it. If I used post stamps, I don't have proof of delivery.

They approved the RMA. Now I have to box them.
But I have a feeling it is not going to work. They have already included in their email this:
"Please note that Kingston is not liable or responsible for any parcels that have been tampered with or lost in transit."
Well, I ll try anyway. What do you suggest? Get a tracking number and weigh it, or no tracking number and no weighing?

The weight of the ram is quite high. It's 160g (it's 4 modules with quite big metal heatsink). The weight of the box with bubble-wrap and newspapers inside is 110g (without the ram).
I think I ll opt for the non tracking option. What do you think?

They are a tough nut to crack. I don't think it's gonna work. I'll try a couple of more emails see what will happen.

First email informing me that the package was tampered and that they are not liable, I replied back and they replied the same thing again, that they are not liable.
