Amazon Refund Questions 08-07-2018, 10:14 AM

Hey guys. I'm planning on doing a $800 CAD Amazon refund on a GPU. Which method should I use which would increase my chances? The DNA method or empty box method (ordered with another item which actually did come)? Is it absolutely necessary that I don't sign? I was planning on fake signing and then when they ask for a police report I was planning on using my real info and giving them that report so that they could refund me.

Forgot to mention the shipping weight is 1.8kg. I also have prime membership and it is aged well. I've only done one other refund but that was a month ago on a $60 order.

If you do this, I'd advise selling the GPU and buying another one so that if Police do show up the GPU you bought will have a different S/N to the one Amazon originally sent. You're looking at a felony for fraud and providing incorrect information.

Just to add can I still claim DNA if my carrier takes a picture of the package in front of my house or of the package on my porch? Hopefully if I don't get that courier I wont have to deal with it but if I do (the carrier is Intelcom Express) can I still claim DNA or would it be more safe to claim empty box?

I'm also from Canada, and I fucking hate Intelcom express, recently they have been taking pictures of my house number, package infront of my door, and then signature and they always ask what my name is then confirm the sig, and this is recent, like 3 months ago they wouldn't give a shit, they would ring the door and leave the package. Try to message amazon and say you don't want intelcom to deliver for you. Try to get Canada post, they always ring the doorbell and leave.
Order 2 items and have them ship in one box. If they ask for a sig, make sure it's real since we aint going with DNA method. Contact Amazon and tell them you only got 1 item instead of 2. They'll open an investigation most of the time with the courier. You shouldn't have to make a police report since you did receive the item but you only got 1/2 of the items. And honestly, I would just make a real police report (I'm sure you can do this online aswell, atleast in my city I can). They rarely follow up if you make the price low (Since it shows the price, edit it and send the correct price to Amazon) and if they do follow up all they gonna ask is the reference number, they don't talk about the price.
