Have a look whether the same Item Is up for sale on eBay. You'll need to put your SEing skills Into action.

Contact the seller as though you're genuinely Interested In purchasing. Politely ask for the serial number- for the purpose of checking/verifying that the Item Is not stolen or obtained via Illegal means. Comply with Logitech's request thereafter.

The email is pretty self-explanatory. Tell them it was a gift so you can't provide POP.
I would not use an amazon receipt-generator, as there is a chance Logitech can cross-check. If they do, consider the SE over.
