It depends on your circumstances and/or the entities Involved.
* Personal SE experience.
* Age of your account.
* Number of legit purchases (If any).
* Number of refunds (If any).
* Value of the Item(s) In question.
* Research and preparation.
* Vulnerabilities Identified.
* Method used (against the above).
* Effectiveness of your execution.
It depends on your circumstances and/or the entities Involved.

By far, food services are the easiest to SE. Simply stating that the food tasted "weird and unnatural" is enough to get free coupons for the respective franchise.

Yes, thread moved from the Lounge forum.
I certainly agree with consumable products being the easiest to SE. You'll find that on most packaging, there's a "customer satisfaction" (or some variant) whereby If you're not satisfied with the product, they will Issue a refund/replacement. They have In fact SEd themselves.

Another thing to add is, the cost of the item but, I would take Gosu's advice if so.

Actually, Redbull is extremely profitable when SEd. Buy a case, complain. Get another case for free. Sell those redbulls to local teenagers for half price, repeat.

This can be applied to most if not all beverage companies.
