Can I use a prepaid cc giftcrd for rma? I have to pay for shipping and they will send me and charge the cc if I don't send defective back.

Bought one Galaxy S8 from local store last year. Bought the S9 few days ago from Amazon. Will Amazon bother if the receive an S8 back instead of an S9? Do they really check returns? Tongue

Generally yes. Returns have to be put into circulation stock or recorded for damages for loss.
Unless they're going against retail policy that's been established for years, they will check the box.

Hi i have recently tried the double dip method , following your procedures , i manage to get the replacement but when i asked for the refund stage, they said "Do not worry in this case we will inform the local authorities and take strict action as this is unacceptable. " what is going to happen?

Given the proposed action they're (supposedly) taking, I couldn't help but laugh at their comment of "Do not worry".

Who was It you SE'd? How, and In what context, did you put forward a refund request?

It was amazon. First rep gave me the (gpu) replacement without any question. I said that the item was not delivered and it was a gift for my friend for his birthday. The next step was trying to get the refund after receiving the replacement, talking a different rep, again I said it the item has not arrived and claimed for a refund. That's when the message came through. What do I do now? Talk to another rep or just wait? Will the "authorities" come to my house and investigate? I am quite worried. Thanks for the help !
