I’ve been getting a lot of packages will I eventually get caught? Does it involve charges and police action

Well it depends on where you live, how often you did it, and especially how and where you did it. We can't really help you if you are just saying you did it quite often.
For example always trying to SE something from the same company could get you in trouble after some time.

More than likely, in the end, you will end up getting caught. It will also more than likely involve jail.

Never ceases to amaze me how clueless some of you guys are. Yes you will get caught. It will involve jail time. In fact any amount of stolen goods totalling over $1000 is a FELONY!

However, an undeserved sense of entitlement may not be the motive behind every user. Exploiting a SE vulnerability in a company by "hacking people", gives a sense of "earning" comparable to if you had spent time searching for an exploit in a digital program or system. But you aren't wrong, most of the people just want free shit.
