I've just ordered a 1080TI for a grand total of $780 after tax. I have another order that I received just yesterday for about $500. I'm nervous about refunding the GPU because of the price tag, but there's almost $300 there I'd be losing. Should I play it safe and do the $500 (no signature, but was placed in parcel locker), or wait for the GPU to arrive and try that? I basically need to message Amazon today or tomorrow because time is ticking and the GPU isn't here for another week at least.
If they ask for a signature, how could I get around it for a refund? I'm not going to be dumb and do empty box, I'm looking for a smarter method to get a refund without needed to return the item to Amazon. I'd greatly appreciate tips.
No you dont want to refund something in a pacel locker.. since only you have the code to open it. You wont get your refund for the 500.
780$ will not trigger a signature. Usually amazon will tell you the package requires a signature or not on your order page. 780$ is nothing imo. you should be good. When package arrives, wait a full day. then message the CS. otherwise the system wont let them to do it.

i would say on my experience my max wait days are five. according to amazon, they used to have a button said "my item is not delivered" the button disappears after delivery around 4-5 days so i`ll start from there

1. Is amazon refunding possible in Australia?
2. What are small expensive things ideal for refunding?
3. Do you change accounts and/or address on each refund?

1. Yes
2. Anything that is able to liquidate fast and not much discount. i would recommend that you buy anything that you could sell on "craigslist" instead of ebay or amazon since they take 10-15% and you have to ship it. examples are:computer components Core-i7 cpu etc
3. no i use my heavily used real name, real address account. I do one SE every 3-5 orders. Most of them are above 500$ and below 1500$ and most of them are not signature required.

Im not saying you cant, just i dont want to risk them thinking im doing what im doing because i have already 20+ SE'ed items in that account for " order not received"
since your average josh mom will going to cheat to get an XBOX, IPAD, IPHONE garbage like those, when you said my ipad order is not received, they got alarm ringing in their head.
Things like " hello sir, i ordered three business receipt printers worth 400$ each is not delivered in my office, could you get me another three" does not sounds like suspicious activity all in all who will want to cheat to have three receipt printers lol

double dipping is when you do your regular se "item not reveived" then you got another replacement and said its not received too.
I do not recommend those unless you have 5 accounts.

Agree.
Then there's cases of triple dipping (for replacement purposes) or a mixture, such as double dipping plus a refund- all of which should not be performed by both Items of high value and Inexperienced social engineers.
