I just got the second email stating I have to send the Jaybird headphones back. They said they will give me a prepaid shipping label to ship the headphones back. Can I still just send them a random shipping number and it'll work?

i am in the same  boat.  waiting on the shipping label. dont know if i should send a random number.

If u told them u purchased it from amazon just tell them the return window closed or if u said u purchased it elsewhere just say ur overseas

Went back to them and told them that I had been told by Amazon that I needed to go through the manufacturer. Spoke to them on the phone the rep said that my PoP was not enough and they needed the VAT invoice from the Amazon order. I can fake that no problem, question is should I? I have attempted this SE using both my real name and address as its my first attempt at Jaybirds. Are they likely to check the invoice number with Amazon? Not sure if i should abandon this one and go for a PoP from a non Amazon store. Thoughts?

It really depends on which rep you get. I've SE'd Jaybird a couple times now, and the response varies on what the rep as well as how you approach each difference rep. You should attempt to go through with this SE do gather information on the rep you're speaking with. It can help you in future SE attempts.

So with the Vat invoice that they are asking for. I'm just going to change the invoice number and make the order number match the pop that I have already sent them. Anything else you think I need to bare in mind?
