This is a question for those who have already SE'd Apple. Did you have to box them or were you able to receive a replacement without boxing?

Again, this isn't Social Engineering, this is theft. Another point, if this is with newer Apple products (whose value is more than $500), this is actually GRAND THEFT, which is a felony. @mothered can you weigh in on this? It's in that grey area again.

Actually @phyrrus9 anything over a specified dollar amount becomes a federal lever fraud case. They actually busted a few people in Indiana with 6+ figures worth the SE'ed property from Amazon.

It depends on your county and state laws. I would recommend you not do this.

I was saying that because felonious activity IS a clear violation of our rules, but I wasn't sure to report it or not.

Certainly so.

It's attempting to obtain Items for financial gain by deception, which Is not classed as social engineering.

I asked you about this because it's not one of those that's in the grey area of being theft or not, but more so in the area of does this make a clear violation. This is a felony (since its value is >$500 it's grand theft).
