It is too late for the old "not delivered" situation but you might be able to report liquid coming out of the PS4, say something along the lines of "First, I could hear the fans go into full blast, then it started getting ridiculously hot, almost too hot to touch, it then turned off with the power button blinking yellow. There was some sort of leakage on the side of the PS4 and my dad suggested it might be battery acid. He said it was a dangerous substance so he had to take it to the land dump to dispose of it. **********. Is there anything I can do or will I just have to buy another one? Thank you!."
