Although most of these techniques have already been readily available for hackers to exploit, I found this WikiLeaks article to be chock full of good information.
https://wikileaks.org/ciav7p1/
For example, car hacking has been around for quite a while now. But there is some cool information about Smart TVs. (if someone could do a dissection of some of this gritty technical information, I'm sure everyone would be very interested)
What do you think?

I think this is actually pretty nice. Just shows what our world has come to. This info is very helpful to some people!

Holy shit, so someone in the CIA just up and left with half a billion lines worth of the most powerful hacking tools on the planet? Color me impressed.

If you guys don't understand. This is huge.
This is Edward Snowden levels of hacks.

Also the CIA is paying to keep unsafe software unsafe. Mfw

I do agree it's big. But I hardly think it's surprising to many of us.

Their is still much left to be uncovered.

I believe the more technology moves forward, the more susceptible It Is to exploitation.

Very Interesting reading on the "Smart TVs" link.
Thank you.

Hey look, another mini-NSA-v2.0...

Seriously, this is getting out of hand. Every agency wants to get a chance at being their own mini-NSA, the FBI was first, and now it's the CIA.

Waiting until wikileaks makes the attachments available so we can start to analyze some of their malware.

If they make the attachments available.

If  they make the attachments available.

They said they will as soon as they are done "processing" them, so I have no inclination to believe anything otherwise. Also, Wikileaks is probably the last organization who is interested in removing malware samples to protect the CIA, as they are the ones who decided to willingly host this leak to begin with.
