FitBit #1
Finally got one! (They just sent the pebble)

Told them I was going to a cross-fit competition and the thing wouldn't turn on. I had just received it for my birthday.
Make sure it's NEVER been used!
They ask for SN, just grabbed one off Ebay.

Took a few tries.

I don't understand that FitBit still doesn't know that they're being SE'd so much. I mean there are services everywhere.

It's kinda funny.
It's like there are a ton of ants coming in your house, because you left your door open. But you don't realize there are any ants

It happens a lot with cracked accounts.
Get a new account and try again.

What you should do is this:

1.Crack a bunch of accounts.
2.Find a account that you can login to there email with the same password.
3.Set a spam filter on the account so anything from fitbit is sent straight to the junk folder.
4.Do the s.e.

They will no longer get a email saying there order was sent out (they still send a email to the old address even if you change the email address).

Interesting Wink

What I always think about fitbit is:

It everyone just stopped SE'ing them, what would they think?
"Wow, our support ist broken, nobody's fitbit is broken!"
"What should we do with all the available replacements...?"

I guess most of the "broken devices" are probably SE's.

In every organization, there's always at least one person who's vulnerable and susceptible to SE'ing.

It's all about training and awareness. If their staff aren't trained against social engineering attacks, they're simply not aware they're being conned. Most probably don't even know what the term (SE'ing) means.
