I mean they will investigate it 9/10 times all the home delivery have camera so it will show it arriving to the house and most of the time it shows the driver dropping of the package. However they can say they weren't home and someone stole it, but you would have to provide that most of the time. Truly depends on where you live and how serious the css is that location. But 9/10 times they won't do anything other then mark that location/buyer as someone who tried to play the system, and require and signature for release of every box regardless of value

From the UPS Supervisor friend, wasn't kidding.

I don't understand how and why they class an authorized signature for not receiving goods as an "Investigation".

Sure, they may require It for Internal processing (replacement/refund), but that's where It's stops. Delivers get lost In transit all the time. If you claim the Item was not received, that's It. Period.

You could try to contact the support team, or contact UPS directly.

Going with the flow adds legitimacy to it.

Probably just a scare tactic, pretty weak at that. Probably implies that they need a quick and dirty solution to try and stop Social Engineers. Go with the flow and keep going if you got the balls.
