I would have done everything exactly the same. My regrets do not exceed my happiness at this point in my life. None of us have a working time machine. So, why dwell on the things we would have changed. Instead, observe what you've leaned from your tribulations and try to instill that wisdom into someone else. It's not what you would do if you could go back but what you will do moving forward. Embrace who/what you are and live life without worries. Without pain, we could never know happiness...

*Not* put myself in debt by taking out student loans and going to college. Also, never hooking up with the junkies I have as friends.
Placeholder until I can think of something witty

This sounds super "English lit professor"-y, but most of the responses here are things people did and regret. Does anyone have something they didn't do and think about what they missed out on, or something you wish you did more?

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

i dont really refret doing the things i did
they were not only learning experiences for me but also events that turned me into who i am....
* make more money now
* now known as the guy who doesnt even need to hit people due to the name ive made for zero tolerence
* know my limits and when to stop drinking... mainly the dofference between socially drinking and just plain srinking to drink
am i proud of the stuff i did? no, not at all...
am i ashamed absolutely not

I'm still 18...
I don't regret anything.
