Owari no Seraph review #1
Holy crap, where to start?
Between incredibly deep character development, emotion-provoking decisions, and absolutely insane fight scenes, Owari no Seraph found a spot in my top 3 in the two days it took me to watch both seasons.

Simply put - it's everything you could ask for in an anime: psychological, a bit of horror, tons of action, and not to mention the crazy goddamn demon weapons. I'm currently going insane waiting for season 3, so I might rewatch it all once or twice Tongue
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

It's a decent anime. I watched it a while back.

There were some extremely hype scenes like:
Spoiler:
When Mika charged to "save" Yu. And the epic OST playing made it even better.

I liked the idea of noble kind of vampires and old friends meeting again after a long time scenarios.

Oh my god, that scene pissed me off so much. The entire time I was just thinking "no, fuck off, you'll ruin shit again".
Spoiler:
but definitely agreed, the class system fits nicely with vampires, and the idea of progenitors with increasing power adds a cool angle
Spoiler:
and Guren's back story with Shinoa's sister fucked me up so much Sad

Yeah...
Spoiler:
Another nice moment was when they were fighting a noble with that other group and he killed himself to keep his honor or something when he knew he had lost. It was unexpected.

Also, too bad Mika didn't manage to finish off Guren.

Spoiler:
I'm so conflicted on how I should feel about Guren. I mean, it's not entirely his fault he got all possessed and shit

Spoiler:
Guren chose to give up a part of himself when he made a contract with his first demon because he was craving for more power.

Mahiru was possessed by another demon later so Guren killed and transformed her to a weapon which he ended up using then. But she takes control of him occasionally.

I think Guren is stronger than he appears to be though.

I torrented this nearly a full year ago literally a year ago and never watched it. I guess I was too busy marathoning the entire To Aru series at the time. Guess I'll find time sooner or later.

Have you got a trailer you could share maybe? Sounds like it's good.

There's also a season 2 which started airing ~ October 10, 2015.

Good to know haha, it's good to wait, because when I start to binge, I don't have to wait a week or more for more episodes. Smile
