UCC shooting! 10-03-2015, 11:45 AM

What do you think of the college shooting?
hate crime, mental illness or something more sinister?
Also what's your stance on guns, and how easy it is to get them in the US?

Personally I think it was mental illness, the shooter wanted to be remembered probably due to feeling inadequate in his own life, often these shooters live very isolated lives and want to go out with a bang / be remembered because they want to feel like they matter...
I think America needs to be stricter on its gun controls, or at least, prevent people from having ammunition at home, you should be limited to a certain amount of it if you're going hunting, other countries where gun laws are restricted / banned don't have anywhere near the amount of gun problems, it feels like every month there's been a new shooting in America...
I can understand people who are pro-gun but at the same time I think the needs of safety outweigh the desires of those that want their guns.

Mass gun shooting? #JustAmericaThings
I'm pretty sure that the "right to protect your freedom", has actually ended more peoples freedom than granted.

holy shit, there's a school here called UCC that's 5 minutes from my house. I nearly had a heart attack.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

It is the new normal so I guess it's whatever.
And it is very easy to get guns in the US
Step 1, Choose a gun at the gun store
Step 2, Fill out a background check form
Step 3, Wait for the shop to make a call and confirm your background (You cannot own a gun with a criminal record you must have a clean background)
Step 4, Pay and get handed the gun
Open carry is legal, however you cannot conceal carry a firearm without a cc permit.
Must be 18 to order a rifle/shot gun, must be 21 to order a hand gun.
