Explain how downloading copies of something damages anything? It's not stealing either because they're copies, people who didn't buy it weren't going to buy it anyone. Also the fact that TPB is not the only site of its kind and they themselves haven't done any harm other than offer the equivalent of a library that everyone can use for free to share files.

well really that is just a contradiction in terms because copyright violation and thievery are one in the same thing because thievery is taking something with out paying and what are you doing when you pirate a movie or song or anything you are taking something without paying for it can you understand that or do i need to dumb it down for you

I don't give a shit about the ethics side of it, the point is that downloading copies does not cause any kind of financial loss to the creators because you aren't taking anything away from then hence you can't put it in the same category with thievery.
