Ok this is pretty much guaranteed to work if done correctly and if not over abused.

This method has been around for quiet some time but in an effort to jump start the Human Manipulation section I'm going to post it for you. Like all Social Engineering it really doesn't have an origin and it can be modified to fit any situation you think you can succeed in.

So you want some free gift cards? Well lets get some munchies!

Your going to want to go to your favorite restaurant website. For this example we will be using Olive Garden (I have gotten over $1250 in Olive Garden GCs).

Go to https://www.olivegarden.com/Secure/Connect/

Here's where the social engineering comes in:

Type in your zip code and pick a restaurant near you
In a separate window open up the menu.

Now we start planning the story.

Find something you would order on the menu plan how many people are in your party I'll write an example scenario for you bellow as an example:

Hello my name is ******** and last week I ate at the Olive Garden in <place>. We had a party of 5 myself included. We all love Italian food and have been to Olive Garden numerous times before but have never had an experience like this. The wine tasted sour and my wife and two of my three kids got food poisoning, the doctor said the meat was probably spoiled. My wife and kids were sick and we missed our families annual Christmas Eve reunion.

I have never had such an awful experience in any restaurant.

Ok so now you have a good basis for your story you covered all the basis you got a good believable story that will draw sympathy. If they ask who your waiter/waitress was just say you didn't remember and you paid in cash.

You will be asked at some point to provide contact information (phone number, name, and address) give them all of this. Wait about 10 days and you'll get a gift card in the mail sent directly to you from Olive Garden.

Enjoy your free food and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

WARNING: DO NOT ABUSE THIS if your going to do this more then once a month or less then use a different address or target a different olive garden.

that's why you use fake information... Make first last name doesn't matter and they don't save your info.

Also its not smart to hit the same restaurant more then once a month. If your going to do this method multiple times per month use different restaurants (they can be the same like all Olive Gardens but do different towns). Also make sure you use a real number for Olive Garden because they will call you.

How does the average phone call you receive from the restaurant go like? Is it more of just to express their apologize? Normally, back when I worked in food service there wasn't much other than we get a phone call, someone complains and we just tell them to come in for a free meal/gift card.. no real questioning

sorry I didn't see your post till now I've been very busy.

You will get a call from a manager or representative they will just talk to you express their disbelief that anything like this would happen ask you a few questions and then mail you a gift card. Usually standard procedure.

I actually did have a HORRIABLE dining experience at The Olive Garden and so I emailed them and told them exactly how bad the food was and about week later, I had a $30.00 gift card in the mail from them and Made a Great Xmas Gift for My Babysitter
