I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I don't spoonfeed my methods

First, get an IMEI. I got mine by emailing some people from craigslist.
Call in under a fake alias with real address and say your phone is broken. Use your own excuse.
If they ask for serial, etc, say you only have the IMEI.
They're gonna ask you to send in the phone, box them.

We're all Noobs at the beginning ^^

The boxing method means that you send the company a box filled with dry ice (or something similar), and beat the box up a bit prior to shipping. The reason for the ice is the the weight when shipped will be the phone's, but since the ice melts away with no trace; the company will assume the phone has been stolen or removed by mail office (whence the beat up box).

OT; nice and short tutorial; but it's a gamble not to have a serial. If you find the IMEI of a phone, you can usually get the S/N aswell, which grounds for larger success.

I've done it twice with only IMEI. I never dry ice or harm the box for samsung, I ship it as is. They don't weigh
